CPSU SPSF Group SA Branch PSA Stage 1 Elections Declared

The Stage 1 election process has now been concluded by the Australian Electoral Commission (AEC).

Charlotte Watson and Celia Brougham have been elected as General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary respectively.

A Message from the General Secretary and the Assistant General Secretary.

It is with great pride that we formally announce our election as PSA General Secretary and Assistant General Secretary, marking a new chapter for union leadership built on transparency, energy and grassroots action.

We thank you, the PSA members, for your strong support. Our team is grateful for, and deeply appreciate, your vote of confidence in our leadership and the vision we have for our union.

Across electorates, our candidates were overwhelmingly endorsed by members. This is a powerful mandate for building a stronger, fairer, more democratic union.

Now the real work begins. Our top priority is progressing and securing a deal in the Salaried Enterprise Bargaining.

We are aware that a number of members are undertaking industrial action. We are focused on getting out to sites and meeting with members as soon as possible.

Together, with our newly elected Council and all of you as members, we’ll build the union we believe in.

We are grateful and honoured to be here.
